The cable is a little stiff compared to other 20+ ft extensions I've used. Not sure if that's the jacket material or foil shield or both. Not a problem as it isn't intended to be coiled over and over. We're using it as a simple headphone extension and so far no issues. Build quality is basic molded factory output but decent for a 25 ft, $10 cable.

Specifically designed for quality computer audio applications.
This cable extends the connection from the PC sound card, portable CD player or any mini-stereo audio device with 3.5mm jacks to a multimedia speaker.
The cable features two 29 AWG stranded conductors and a drain wire, which are tinned to resist oxidation.
The conductors and drain wire are wrapped with an aluminum foil shield to resist noise and prevent unwanted EMI/RFI interference.
Fully molded nickel-plated connectors provide strain relief, and are color-coded PC-99 to match a computer speaker jack.
