but came extremely dirty INSIDE the packaging and does not look new
Product came on time, but came extremely dirty INSIDE the packaging and does not look new. I wiped off all the dirt and hairs from the product. I plugged it in and it made a plosive sound when connecting to the speaker, but that is it. It does not work. I will be returning this product.

I actually bought the wrong ones. I was supposed to buy the RCA to 3.5mm ones I think or the "2 x RCA Male / 1 x 3.5mm Stereo Female, Y-Cable, 6 inch". Be aware of this and look at the picture carefully.

In terms of quality, they seem the same as the cables that you get for free when you buy a DVD or VCR. I bought mine from bargaincables, and they shipped it very quickly and in a little envelope that had padding itself. It works and is very cheap.

The splitter serves its purpose very well. It allows me to connect a pair of speakers to my console and even my phone. My only gripe is that it's very thick. Also, the end of the cable is huge. If one of your devices has a recessed port, it won't fit at all. Aside from this, the sound quality doesn't suffer (unlike cheaper ones I've bought in the past). Overall, it was a great purchase.

Note that if you attempt to hook it up to speakers without an amplifier (with its own power source), the volume will be very low.

I have a Winfast 2000XP Deluxe video capture card that I use to record my VHS tapes to my computer. The capture card has a 3.5mm port for the input audio, I don't know why it never came with a cable like this. Since my Sony TV does not have the ports for gaming systems such as PS2 I can now hook up my PS2 to the capture card and play on my monitor through my computer. This product works perfectly, the audio sounds as it should without any distortion.

This little adapter is hard to find but is a must if you have a kindle fire and want to hear the audio of whatever is playing. I use these for adapting to a multimedia speaker which only supports RCA cables. I attach them and plug it into the headphone jack and bada bing-I'm jamming.
A little heads up, it seems to matter which is plugged int which, I have yellow and white going to the speakers and I have t have them connected white to red, yellow to white in order for it to work. That might have just been a mistake at the factory when my speaker was assembled idk. totally a great accessory for ading juice to the audio for kindle fire, laptops and even cellphones

I purchased this product in an attempt to use an old speaker system as my computer speakers. The system has a central amp that only took RCA and the computer output was standard 3.5mm. The adapter took in the male RCA cable that I had and let me plug it into the comp. Works great and for how dirt cheap it is, it looks like it can take a beating. I've had the setup for about 3 weeks now and no problem.

I've just used this for one day, but I like it. I used it to hook up my MacBook Pro late 2008 to a Vizio sound bar. I have to turn the volume on the computer up all the way and then use the volume control on the sound bar, otherwise I get a hum. I'm glad I bought this. I didn't even think to order a long RCA cable at the same time! So I have to use a short one in the mean time.

These are exactly the quality I expected for the price, which is a good thing. Nothing special, but also nothing bad to say. The plastic is all the heavier, opaque kind, not the slightly translucent cheapy stuff that you see on some low quality connectors.
  • Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2019
I bought these three years ago, and just now I am realizing the channels on the particular unit I had were swapped. I fabricated a cable out of some solderless audio connectors noting which was left and right, then afterward I plugged them into their designated channels and realized far too late the audio was swapped between channels. I tested this with another colour-coded connector from RadioShack (RIP) since I knew, having fabricated the cable by hand which was colour-coded left and right, and behold; the colour coding for that was correct.

White should be left, while red should be right. This has been the standard Radio Corporation of America set forth on their phono connectors for DECADES and somehow on my particular batch the channels were swapped, resulting in an incorrectly-manufactured product. I mean, sure you can swap the connections and that's no big deal to the average consumer, but it is lacking competence from the manufacturer RiteAV received their cables from as I know there are people who are listening to their music incorrectly; their channels are swapped, so any binaural recordings or recordings with emphasis on left and right channels are not reproduced as intended by the author, if the consumer were to trust the colour code on the incorrectly-manufactured cables.
